Catholic Committee on Scouting

The Lord answered me, say not, 'I am too young.' To whomever I send you, you shall go; whatever I command you, you shall speak. Have no fear before them, because I am with you to deliver you says the Lord.

Jeremiah 1: 7-8

Our Mission

The Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting for the Diocese of San Bernardino provides spiritual leadership and guidance to Catholic Scouts and Scouters in the diocese.

The Committee views Scouting as a valuable program that helps develop character, devotion to God, and a sense of duty among Catholic youth. They work to promote Scouting in parish-sponsored units and other Catholic organizations, believing it helps young people grow in personal maturity and social responsibility.
